Andrew Wang

Instructor of trumpet and all concert band instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, french horn, trombone, baritone, and tuba), for both classical and jazz.

Mr. Wang is a brass embouchure specialist. He plays locally with the Baptist Bible College Concert Band. He has a Bachelor of Music from the Berklee College of Music, a Bachelor of Science from UMC, and a Master of Education from UMC. He has studied with Joseph Andrucci, NYC Center Ballet Symphony; Carmine Caruso; John Coffey, Ray Kotwecca, and Jack Berv. He has performed with Lin Biviano, Chet Ferritti and Keith Greene. He has been a Band Director for 27 years, taught private instruction for 10 years, and is an adjunct professor of trumpet at Baptist Bible College.

Mr. Wang is currently teaching at Springfield Lutheran School and is currently performing with the Jazz Educators Big Band under the direction of Bob Holden. He holds a Life Teaching Certificate in Instrumental Music from the state of Missouri. Mr Wang also manages our own Little Hoover's Big Band.
