Theresa Gargus

Private clarinet instruction.

Theresa Gargus attended high school in Owensville, MO, where she played clarinet, bass clarinet and saxophone. After high school, Ms. Gargus received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Central Methodist University. While at CMU, Ms. Gargus was a member of the marching band and was a principal clarinetist in the concert band. She also played alto saxophone and was the lead alto in the CMU jazz band during her senior year. During college she was active in the Collegiate Music Educators Association and was president of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international women’s music fraternity.

Last year Ms. Gargus taught 5-12 grade music at Northwest High School in Hughesville, Missouri. During her time at Northwest her students were very successful, attending state contest as well as junior high conference contest.
